How FlyDevs became TaDa's long-term engineering partner — and helped win Best Mobile App in Argentina.

TaDa (part of AB-InBev) needed to scale their digital ecosystem fast — mobile app, CMS, and analytics — across a rapidly growing user base. They needed developers who could ship continuously over years, not just a project team.

How the partnership evolved

Year 1

Team integration + core mobile app foundation

FlyDevs developers integrated into TaDa's existing team. First priorities: stabilize the mobile app, fix critical bugs, and build the location-based drink ordering flow with geo-location services.

CMS infrastructure + promotions engine

Built a robust content management infrastructure that let TaDa's ops team manage promotions, inventory, and pricing without engineering involvement. Shipped dynamic promotions, discount management, and A/B testing capabilities.

Geo-location as a core ordering primitive, not a bolt-on

TaDa's value proposition was cold drinks delivered fast to your location. We built geo-location into the order routing logic from day one — not as a feature layer, but as the core delivery scheduling engine. This made future features like zone-based pricing and delivery time estimates far simpler to build.

Operations-first CMS — built so engineers wouldn't be bottlenecks

Early on, every promotional campaign required developer involvement. We designed the CMS to give the ops team full control over promotions, catalog, and pricing — reducing engineering dependency for day-to-day operations by 80%.

Analytics built for product decisions, not just dashboards

Most analytics implementations produce vanity metrics. We instrumented TaDa's events specifically to answer product questions: which promotions drive repeat orders, where users drop off in checkout, and what personalization signals correlate with LTV.

What almost went wrong

Data synchronization across app, CMS, and inventory became a critical risk at scale

As the platform grew, inventory state between the mobile app, CMS, and backend started drifting — especially during promotions that spiked order volume. We introduced an event-driven sync layer and wrote explicit integration tests for all promotional state changes before they became user-facing incidents.
