We built geo-location into the order routing logic from day one — not as a feature layer, but as the core delivery scheduling engine. This made future features like zone-based pricing and delivery time estimates far simpler to build.
Early on, every promotional campaign required developer involvement. We designed the CMS to give the ops team full control over promotions, catalog, and pricing — reducing engineering dependency for day-to-day operations by 80%.
Most analytics implementations produce vanity metrics. We instrumented TaDa's events specifically to answer product questions: which promotions drive repeat orders, where users drop off in checkout, and what personalization signals correlate with LTV.
As the platform grew, inventory state between the mobile app, CMS, and backend started drifting — especially during promotions that spiked order volume. We introduced an event-driven sync layer and wrote explicit integration tests for all promotional state changes before they became user-facing incidents.
